Overview Mastercard Payment Services provides a leading ecosystem of account-to-account based services including clearing, electronic invoicing, bill-pay and instant payments services to banks, corporates and their customers. More than 90% of Danish and Norwegian households use these services to pay their bills. The Mastercard Payment Services finance team is looking for a Manager, Finance Business Partner in Norway to partner with the Norwegian payments organisation to work with business critical projects and key decision makers, ensuring that Finance is a value-adding partner in terms of transparency, predictability and stability regarding the financials of this business area. Role As a full member of the Norwegian Mastercard Payment Services management team, you will:
o Works cross-functionally with business partners to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and target setting for the Norwegian business o Produce and present product financials and analysis of business performance including tracking of progress against approved business cases o Support board and corporate presentations through the development of long-range plans and business analyses o Partner with product teams to develop and implement market entry strategies through differentiated value propositions, pricing and product features o Put finance on the agenda and instil transparency, commitment and cost ownership culture with peers o Provide financial and commercial analysis to other Mastercard teams including Product & Engineering Finance, Controllership and GBSC shared services o Liaison with external advisers for tax, regulatory and commercial matters o Drive a transition to increase the use of data analytics and support a data driven culture All About You Your professional acumen and experience form most of your qualifications, but it's your personality that makes the difference to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate for this position should have:
o Experience from fast moving, demanding and result driven finance organisation o Strong strategic and commercial understanding with excellent problem solving aptitude o Experience as a real Finance Business Partner challenging and supporting senior management to drive performance improvement and make the right data driven decisions o Strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders o Proven track record in working with large quantities of data in a complex context - experience from Financial Services, Technology, Telco or similar industries is preferred We are looking for a colleague who can engage as a trusted partner and influencer while being pro-active, outgoing, trustworthy and strong in creating and maintaining relations. We expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English (knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a clear advantage) so that you can communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.COVID-19 Considerations We value the safety of each member of our community because we know we're all in this together. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
